Stamps by visit or by spend
Classic virtual punch cards give one stamp per visit. TapCard also supports earning by amount spent, for example one stamp for every 500 in order value, with the amount pulled from the POS order so nobody has to do math at the counter.
Customers can stamp their own card
At peak hours, staff should be making coffee, not scanning phones. TapCard can print a secure one-time QR code on each receipt: the customer scans it at the table and their stamp lands on their card by itself. Each code works exactly once, expires in 20 minutes, and is cryptographically signed, so it cannot be reused or forged.
Still handing out paper cards?
You do not have to switch overnight. Many TapCard businesses run out their remaining paper stock while new customers join digitally, and staff simply transfer a customer's paper progress with a few taps the first time they show their old card.
